* Newletters: The Kern River Valley Chamber of Commerce emails a monthly newsletter called "Lakelines" This is one way to stay connected with what is going on in the valley. Lakelines includes the new and renewing members, the president's message, events that are happening for the month, event flyers, and a business section to advertise your business. Lakelines is sent to every member, political dignitary, and connecting Chambers that are associated with the Kern River Valley Chamber. It is also displayed online under our members tab.
* Events: The Kern River Valley Chamber has six annual events; Man & Woman of the Year, Casino Night, Isabella Lake Fishing Derby, Fireworks Extravaganza, Golf Tournament & Lake Isabella Christmas Parade. We also have multiple small events such as mixers, Business of the Year, Organization of the Year, & general membership meetings. Getting involved in our events is a great way to reach out to other businesses to help enhance yours.
* Lobby Display & Business Promotion: Members can display their brochures, flyers and other promotional materials in our office. We can also send out important notifications on our Facebook page and website. You are also invited to speak at our monthly, general membership meetings to discuss any event or information your business may have to provide to the community.
* Website: We connect with people all around the globe through our website. We have tracked people as far as Japan and Germany and as close as our local valley who follow our website and social media. This is another great way to advertise your business. As a member, we can connect your contact information directly to your business, either by email, or website. We also provide a discription of 50 words or less that best captures what your business entails.
* New Members: When you sign up as a new member, the Chamber displays your business card or ad in our monthly newsletter for one month FREE. We also choose a member at random once per month and give them Spotlight recognition, which is also sent out on our mailing list.
